ZAHARA FURIOUS WITH TRUE LOVE MAGAZINE | Zahara is on the latest cover of True Love magazine, but she is far from thrilled about it.
The award-winning songstress has come out guns blazing against the publication due to ‘a misleading headline’.She took to social media to speak her mind in a lengthy post, labeling the headline “misleading” and “tasteless”.
“I honestly hope this is a sick joke from @truelovemagazine, how dare they put this type of headline on their cover! Why associate me with drugs?? This is an utterly tasteless and misleading caption! Perhaps it’s an effort to boost sales!! Ndidikiwe kengoku, if they don’t recall this cover today, I will be left with no choice but to take legal action against them! I have been trying to call their offices but no one is answering! Fed up of my name always being used to sell magazines and newspapers”, she wrote.
Other local celebs have come out in support of Zahara, including media personality Bonag ‘Queen B’ Matheba, who tweeted: “True Love is trash”.Lerato Kganyago also took to social media to call on all women in the industry to boycott True Love magazine.
Earlier this year, Lerato was displeased with the publication after pictures of her were doctored to the point that ‘she could not recognize herself’.
“True Love doesn’t give a sh*t about women or their “stories” …. they just want to sell magazines. Whether they humiliate them or not”, added rapper AKA on the matter.
